‘Karishma’ Sue Holmes is an internationally respected healer, teacher, ceremonialist and mentor. With over 30 years of experience, she embodies a rare blend of miraculous personal transformation, deep cross-cultural ceremonial training and thousands of hours of hands-on practice as a mentor, healer, facilitator and consultant. Known for weaving shamanic skills with grounded humanity, playfulness and humour, Sue guides others through profound transformation with warmth, clarity and compassion. Originally from the UK, she now lives in the mountains near Porto in Portugal. She is a seeker of truth, a singer-songwriter and a best-selling author.

Jackie Buss is a Digital Designer and Solutions Architect, and the technical assistant to Sue Holmes, supporting Fire Horse and the Academy of Modern Shamanism, and assisting students when needed. With a keen eye for detail, a gift for design, and a passion for smooth operations, she helps bring Sue’s transformative work to a wider audience. Combining technical expertise with an intuitive, soulful approach, Jackie creates  digital solutions that empower entrepreneurs to thrive online. A student of Reiki and Animal Communication, she has a deep connection to nature and the ethereal realms, and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Tristan works professionally as a healing practitioner where he blends multiple modalities of bodywork, energy healing and shamanic healing often with sound and music. He is also an experienced gong practitioner. He is trained in multiple styles and lineages from various countries including the UK, South East Asia and Peru. Tristan brings a very grounded perspective to the work, utilising many different skills and perspectives for a truly holistic approach to healing. Tristan also works professionally as a musician and music producer, based in Stroud, UK.

Sophie is a shamanic practitioner, energy healer and Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner from the UK. She is a trained Dancing Freedom facilitator and DJ. Sophie dedicates her time to grounding and embodiment practices, through dance, ritual and healing. She works closely with a shamanic tradition from Africa called Bwiti, rooted in empowering individuals and supporting communities with natural medicine, dance and song. She loves weaving magical, musical journeys to uplift the heart and heal the soul. She currently lives in Bali.

Steph is from Switzerland, where she has worked as a trained nurse for over 10 years. Following an inner calling, she graduated with the Academy of Modern Shamanism and is currently apprenticing to work deeply with plant medicine. Steph is studying to become a trauma therapist and in the middle of opening up her own healing practice. She holds a compassionate and safe space for people to connect with their inner wisdom and stand in their strength. At home, Steph is often found in nature and taking in the beauty of the Swiss alps.

Claire is a shamanic practitioner & energy healer (graduated from Sue’s course), nutritionist, yoga teacher, body worker and breath work coach. She has studied holistic health for over 10 years and during her healing journey, has experienced first-hand: practices and tools that help raise vibration, expand consciousness, heal the body and bring balance & harmony to our lives. She is an eager companion on the journey of self-discovery to awaken our true potential and become powerful catalysts for change. She shares yoga, breath-work and sound healing to awaken, strengthen and relax the body, based in Liverpool.

James has worked and trained with various teachers, shamans and energy healers, both in the Peruvian jungle and rolling hills of the British Isles. James completed the shamanic training with Sue, has been on his healing journey for around 6 years and holds a strong, peaceful & compassionate space. When he is not healing he is either managing large software teams or training to be world’s best Dad. At home on the coast of Bournemouth you might just find him playing his didgeridoo on the beach.
