Just as some have to kiss a few frogs before they find their beloved…I tried a few jobs before I found my vocation.
I was mostly uninspired by education and careers when I was young. Some of my previous occupations include: trainee manager at Mothercare, gardener, tree-surgeon, HGV Class 1 driver, car-transporter driver, busker (singing), TEFL English teacher, hostess in a karaoke bar & strip club, overland expedition leader & driver (in Africa & South America).
Sometimes it was a great experience and fun to shape-shift through different roles! But sometimes I felt like a ’round peg in a square hole’.
But then, my love of travelling and adventures grew into learning from wisdom carriers and participating in healing ceremonies in sacred space.
My work as a healer started in the mid 1990’s. I was not only drawn to heal myself and the human energy field but simultaneously to bring harmony to buildings and land. I trained in the arts of healing, feng shui, space clearing and geomancy. At last, I had found a vocation into which I could pour my heart and soul, that made sense to me and connected to the magic of the natural world.
I absolutely LOVE being and working in sacred space and facilitating transformation in my 1 to 1 sessions, consultations and training courses.
My previous jobs brought me plenty of life experience! What work did you do before you found your niche?
